Commission Info

  • The possibilities are endless! If you browse my gallery you’ll find that I love to use a variety of media for an even wider variety of subjects. I accept commissions for both digital and traditional (typically acrylic paint) work.

I have the most experience with people and pet portraits, but there’s not too much I am unwilling to try. When in doubt feel free to ask, and we can discuss what your options might look like!

  • It’s easy! And it all starts with a conversation. Feel free to contact me via email (sydrobke@yahoo.com) or the submission form found here. Tell me about what you had in mind, and we can develop a concept together for your unique project.

Based on the details of our discussion, I’ll generate an proposal that includes a quote breaking down the pricing of the piece. Once we’ve agreed upon a timeline and a price, I ask for a 50% down payment and then I can begin the project.

At any point, you are more than welcome to ask to see a work in progress image.

Once the project is completed and the full payment has been processed, I will send, ship, or deliver the final product based on the terms agreed upon in the proposal.

For further detail, feel free to review my terms and conditions.

  • Commissions are priced on a case by case basis, usually after a thorough discussion about your ideas and expectations for the piece. For the sake of transparency, I like to break down the factors that I base that price on when creating a quote for you.

Things that may impact the price of your piece include:

    -Scale (for traditional work)

-Complexity (are there multiple subjects? Is there a complex background? etc.)

-Time frame (I include an estimate of how long I anticipate the piece will take in the initial quote, which is multiplied by an hourly rate. If I go over that number, you will not pay any more than you were quoted.)

-Printing, delivery, and/or shipping costs (shipping insurance/protection plan optional)

-Tips are always appreciated but never expected :)
