I had two pieces (Where the Wind Blows and Oranda Memorandum) featured in PRHBTN XIII, an annual show held in Lexington. This was the first time I’d sold a painting in an exhibition!

This was the first show I’d decided to participate in since grade school. This was a collection of work made in classes or workshops at the UKFAI that year. It featured my painting “Oranda Memorandum,” which I’d created as part of an abstract painting techniques workshop.

This show featured artworks related to that year’s garden harvest. In my painting “We Picked a Peck of Pickled Peppers,” I depicted a snapshot of the veggies we’d grown that year and attempted to pickle. Between jalapenos and carolina reapers, the mixture ended up being extremely spicy!
